What is nanotechnology?

Nanoscience and nanotechnology are the study and application of extremely small things and can be used across all the other science fields, such as chemistry, biology, physics, materials science, and engineering. In simple terms, nanotechnology is the scientific process used to create smaller, more easily absorbed particle. Nanoparticles are manufactured for improving the delivery of active ingredients in a given product. Nanotechnology isn’t exclusive to CBD or cannabis. In fact, you can find a number of beauty products, medications, and supplements that have been nano-emulsified. However lately, nanotechnology has become a topic of fascination as it relates to CBD.

Nanotechnology and CBD

Nano-emulsified CBD particles can pass through the bloodstream much easier and is considered by a growing number of scientists and industry professionals to be the best method for CBD absorption and overall product effectiveness. Products created with nanotechnology offer better bioavailability; bioavailability refers to the amount of CBD actually absorbed by the body, as opposed to excreted as waste. Practically speaking, the smaller you can break up your cannabinoid, the more it will be able to penetrate your tissues alongside water.
